EILEEN BOWMAN was last seen as Gwendolyn Pigeon in The Odd Couple (Welk Resort Theatre).  Prior to that she was Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray (Welk Resort Theatre) and, before that, as Amy in Company (Cygnet Theatre Company).  Her other roles include Keely Stevens in Pete 'n' Keely, Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, for which she won the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Craig Noel Award, and the three leading ladies in Joe vs The Volcano, for which she also garnered a Craig Noel Award nomination (Lamb's Players Theatre).  She also appeared in the National Tour of The Art of Broadway as well as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Marian in The Music Man and Lina Lamont in Singin' in the Rain (Starlight Musical Theatre).  She has done numerous national commercials as well as many television features. She has performed alongside Leigh Scarritt, Melinda Gilb, Danielle Forsgen, and Rayme Sciaroni in cabaret acts at Martinis Above Fourth. Eileen Bowman and Phil Johnson will be doing a wild night of theatrical entertainment at Martinis Above Fourth. Bowman and Johnson will perform songs from shows they’ve done in San Diego, outrageous comedy, as well as the sketch material they’ve performed at Casa del Haha, the San Diego sketch comedy show. With these two, you never know what will happen, so be ready for anything.
"Eileen Bowman...excellent voice, displaying impressive comic chops and wide vocal range."    Pat Launer - www.jazz88.org
"Eileen Bowman will nail every number and entertain....Bowman shines... croons, belts, and delivers. Her renditions of "Black Coffee" and especially "Wasn't It Fine" dive beneath the showbiz veneer and resonate."    Jeff Smith - San Diego Reader
"course we already know what Bowman can do whether singing low-down blues or soaring operatically. Both are extraordinary farceurs and I cannot imagine anyone better than they in this show."     Charlene Baldridge - Downtown News
"With her songbird vibrato and comic chops, Bowman has been a revelation in recent Lamb's musicals, and here she unleashes an even broader vocal range and gift for laughs. She belts with particular authority on one bluesy second-act tune that's introduced as a selection from the enthusiastic tippler Keely's solo album "On the Rocks"."   James Hebert - UT San Diego
